We've said goodbye to our hotel and are headed to the National Zoo! Baby Panda here we come!

Another beautiful day in DC

Today was a blast! The government opened just in time for us to go to Arlington, the Smithsonians, and the "Newseum". We saw a lot, covered years worth of ground and as one student put it, "we could be here for a year and still have more to explore". 

Now it's off to our dinner dance! We've freshened up and are ready for a dance off! Teachers vs Students....

First day success!

What a wonderful start to our trip! Our tour of Mt. Vernon was great and as we hiked over Washington's grand estate we received compliments from other visitors on how awesome our students are! We were able to get up close to most of the monuments and even around a few barriers. Today is full of more adventures and we are excited to hear the government is up and running!
